The AI Council is a panel of AI portfolio managers you can consult about your portfolio. Each one has its own investing philosophy — a growth-minded one, a patient value one, a quality-compounder one — written down as an editable persona rather than hidden in a prompt.
You can talk to one of them, or convene the whole panel to debate a question and return a synthesized recommendation. The Council is part of the Pro tier (see pricing).
Why a panel instead of one assistant
Ask a single AI what to do with your portfolio and you get a confident answer shaped by whatever framing you happened to use. Ask three with genuinely different philosophies and you get the argument instead — where they agree, where they don't, and why. The disagreement is the useful part; a consensus that survives it is worth more than a first answer.
A session runs multiple rounds until the panel converges or hits your round limit, then a synthesizer writes up the result: prioritized actions (trim this, research that), each with a reason attached.
Grounded in what you actually hold
Council sessions are injected with facts about your real book — positions, weights, concentration — from your synced or imported data, and each run records which portfolio it was grounded on and whether that data was fresh. It isn't reasoning about markets in the abstract; it's reasoning about your book.
Your panel, your models
- Personas are editable. Every manager's philosophy is a document you can rewrite — tune its risk tolerance, sharpen its style, or add a new persona entirely. Every edit is versioned, so you can see what changed and roll back.
- You choose the model. The Council runs on whichever AI provider you configure. If none is configured, it still runs — on a deterministic stand-in, clearly labeled as simulated, so you're never shown a canned answer dressed up as a live model.
The hard limit
A Council recommendation is a proposal, and nothing else. There is no path from "the panel recommends trimming this" to an order being placed. Acting on it runs through you, and then through the same reconcile and approval loop as everything else here.
